Beacon Hill from Shibden Park,

Location of Entrance to Shibden Park

The Walk
The walk has some interesting features such a boating lake, old buildings and graffiti. There are some steps and hills, none of which are killers, it is also very  muddy in places.

The Beacon is 864ft., but the approach is gradual and hopefully no gale such as we faced when checking the walk.

The Pub
Stump Cross Inn, Godley Lane, Halifax HX3 6XG.

The pub is very pleasant with good beers and a very extensive menu.
